Here are a few recent pics from some fun sessions with my niece and nephew. Just to give a little background on them, Avery, our nephew, is the resident family actor. He loves movies and acting in various school productions. He usually gets pretty good parts, for obvious reasons. I don’t think he’s ever met a stranger. Although he loves cutting up for the camera, Avery loves being behind the camera too. He has been editing his own little films with his camcorder…that is until an unfortunate incident with a water scene in the kitchen sink ended his short career, and alas, the life of his camera. So, until he gets a replacement I think he’s perfectly happy in the spotlight.
Here are a few pictures I took of him in front of an old car that was set out for sale in Moore. He thought it looked like Cruella DeVille’s car, and since he was just in a play about 101 Dalmatians, he just had to get some pictures with it. These are my favorites:

Lillie is also a natural in front of the camera, but she’s a lot more laid back than her brother. Not only is she naturally pretty, she is a natural athlete and is a star in whatever sport she tries. Now that she’s in her teens, her uncle and I have decided that we may need to start investing in baseball bats….not for her to play with, but for us to beat the boys away with. Here are my favorites from her session. We found a little back road in Moore in the middle of nowhere and tried our hand with a little off camera flash here. I think the shots turned out really great, and Lillie got to express her inner model.
